With just a photo of a peace sign, Artificial intelligence and photo-editing software could extract a clear, usable fingerprint ridge details replica. It doesn’t even need to be a close up.
Within about 1.5 meters, about 5 feet, the AI tools and photo-editing software could extract relatively clear, usable fingerprint.
Even from 1.5–3 meters, 5–10 feet, roughly half the print could still be recovered after enhancement.
